We offer Duplex pipework welding and Super Duplex pipework welding to meet a great variety of client requirements.
Materials with approved welding procedures
List of materials for which we have approved welding procedures:
- Stainless steels (304 and 316 types): TIG, flux-cored MIG and MMA
- Duplex (includes comprehensive corrosion testing): TIG and MMA
- Carbon steel (including fine grain and low temperature): TIG, metal-cored MIG and MMA
- Hastelloy C276 and C22
- Monel 400
- Monel K500
- Nitronic 50/60
Dissimilar metal welding procedures
In addition to the above, we also hold a number of dissimilar metal welding procedures, including:
- Stainless to Super Duplex
- Monel to Super Duplex
- Stainless to carbon steel
- Hastelloy to stainless
Our welding procedures are not restricted to the above, as we also weld a number of other materials, including aluminium, copper and nickel alloys. We are prepared to qualify welders if a particular procedure is not available.
