Our approved materials page lists the materials for which DMS has approved TIG welding procedures, including:
- 300 series stainless steels
- Duplex and Super Duplex, including comprehensive corrosion testing
- Nitronic 50/60/50HS
- Inconel 625
- Monel 400 and K500
- Hastelloy C276 and C22
- UNS 17400 martensitic steel
- carbon steel, including fine grain and low temperature
- dissimilar combinations of most of these
Procedures are also qualified in MMA, flux-cored MIG and metal-cored MIG for some of these materials. DMS also welds other materials, including aluminium and copper alloys, and is prepared to qualify welders if a particular procedure is not available.
